01General Information

What is Liabify and LiaPay?

Liabify is a UAE fintech focused on improving employee financial wellbeing with smart tools to manage income and optimize cash flow. LiaPay, its all-in-one app, lets employees access earned wage advances, secured loans, bill payments, and expense management — turning salary into a flexible, secure resource for everyday financial wellness.

Who can use LiaPay?

LiaPay is available to all employees in the UAE whose employers are partnered with Liabify. It is only available for employees of companies who choose to use it as a salary payment service. If you want to have LiaPay at your company, refer us to your employer and we will reach out to them!

What are the eligibility requirements for LiaPay?

To use LiaPay, you must complete your job probation period and hold a full-time UAE-based employment offer. Additional eligibility rules may apply depending on your employer’s policies.

Is the EWA LiaPay service a loan?

No. LiaPay is not a loan and not a credit facility. You are accessing wages you have already earned.

To receive your salary before payday credited to your LiaPay card, the employee pays a 3% portal fee, which is deducted from the requested amount or paid in advance when submitting the request.

Does using LiaPay affect my credit score?

No. LiaPay does not report to credit bureaus such as Al Etihad Credit Bureau. Since this is not a lending product, your credit score remains unaffected. However, by accepting a request in LiaPay to access a portion of your earned salary, you agree to have the deduction made from your next company payroll payment. Don’t worry, if your employer is already our partner, they are aware and have agreed to this process, so no extra effort is needed from you.

How much salary can I access?

You can access a percentage of your earned salary, up to 50% of your monthly salary, depending on your employer’s policy and your eligibility.

Can I cancel a salary advance request?

Once processed and transferred, transactions cannot be reversed and will be deducted in the next payroll automatically.

Which bank accounts can I use with LiaPay, and for what purposes?

LiaPay supports most UAE bank accounts for both receiving salary transfers and adding funds to your LiaPay card. Processing times may vary depending on the bank.

Is my company big enough to use LiaPay?

Yes, we offer a solution for all companies in the UAE.

02Account & Verification

How can I create an account?

For Companies:

  • Integration: Your payroll system is seamlessly integrated with LiaPay. This allows employees to access earned wages and other financial services securely.
  • Setup: Liabify works with your HR and payroll teams to configure company-specific rules, limits, and policies for salary advances, secured loans, and bill payments.
  • Launch: Once integration is complete, employees can start using LiaPay immediately without any additional setup on the company side.

For Employees:

Assuming your company has partnered with and integrated LiaPay into payroll:

  • Download & sign up: Get the LiaPay app, register with your UAE mobile number, and verify via OTP.
  • Verify your identity: Complete the eKYC process by scanning your Emirates ID and taking a live selfie.
  • Set your MPIN: Create a 6-digit MPIN to secure your account and authorize transactions.
  • Start using the app: Once verified, you can request a card and start accessing LiaPay’s financial ecosystem.

What happens if my employer is not partnered with Liabify?

You can submit a request through the website to recommend your employer for partnership by filling out the form at liabify.com/signup_company.html. We will then contact your employer on your behalf.

What is an MPIN and why do I need it?

Your MPIN is a secure 6-digit Mobile PIN created during signup. It is required to log in and authorize transactions, helping protect your wallet and funds.

How do I verify my identity?

We use a secure eKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) process. You will be asked to:

  • Scan the front and back of your Emirates ID.
  • Take a live selfie.

This allows instant identity verification.

How long does approval take?

Once your identity is successfully verified through eKYC, your account is automatically approved and ready to use.

What if my verification fails?

If verification fails, please ensure:

  • Your Emirates ID is valid and clearly scanned.
  • Your selfie matches your ID.
  • You are in a well-lit environment.

You can retry the process within the app.

How do I update my email?

To update your email, open the LiaPay app. Click on the Main Menu (top left corner) and choose Personal Information. Then choose the Email Address field and click on the Change link. This will allow you to request a change. Email address change requests are always reviewed and subject to approval.

How do I update my phone number?

Currently, mobile number changes from the app are restricted. Please contact support@liabify.com to help you with that.

I forgot my app login MPIN. How do I reset it?

In case you forgot your MPIN, you can reset it by clicking on "Forgot MPIN" on the Login screen and following the verification steps.

What is biometric login?

Biometric login allows you to login to the LiaPay app using Face ID or Fingerprint configured on your phone. This makes it more secure, and you can also enjoy quick & seamless login on the app.

How can I update my Emirates ID (EID) on LiaPay?

Inside LiaPay, choose Personal Information and you will see "Upload Documents". This button will show only when the expiry date is closer to 30 days. Alternatively, you can send us the EID document by contacting support@liabify.com.


03Transactions

Which countries can I use LiaPay to transfer money from the UAE?

The remittance feature in LiaPay is not live yet, but it will be available soon.

How do I initiate a payment or transfer in LiaPay?

The remittance feature in LiaPay is not live yet, but it will be available soon.

What payment methods are available to fund a transfer or bill payment in LiaPay?

The Bill Payments feature in LiaPay is not live yet, but it will be available soon.

What Bills can I pay with LiaPay?

Once live, you can pay utilities, telecom, school fees, and other supported services directly from the app.


04Card Services

What is a LiaPay card?

The LiaPay card is a digital or physical prepaid card linked to your LiaPay App Account. You can use it for ATM withdrawals, in-store purchases, and online transactions.

How do I request a LiaPay card?

After your account is approved, log in and select “Request Card” from the Home section to apply for your prepaid card.

Is the LiaPay card prepaid or credit?

The LiaPay card is a prepaid card, not a credit card. You can only spend the balance available in your wallet.

How do I set or change my card PIN?

Navigate to: Login > Home > Card Details. From there, you can securely set or update your PIN.

Can I have both a digital and a physical LiaPay card?

Yes. You can use a digital card within the LiaPay app for online and contactless payments and request a physical prepaid card for in-store purchases and ATM withdrawals. Both cards are linked to the same LiaPay wallet.

How can I fund my LiaPay Card?

You can add funds to your LiaPay card via:

  • Bank transfers from your own UAE bank account using the LiaPay app.
  • Receive funds from family or friends in the UAE by sharing your LiaPay wallet IBAN.

Where can I view my transaction history?

You can see both credit and debit transactions in the Transactions section of the app, along with the date and time of each transaction.

Are there any transaction limits?

Yes, transaction limits apply to ensure security and comply with regulations. You can view your specific daily, weekly, and monthly limits directly in the LiaPay app under the Card Details section.

What if my card is lost or stolen?

Immediately freeze your card via: Login > Home > Card Details > Freeze Card. This will block all transactions instantly.

Can I unfreeze my card?

Yes. If you locate your card, you can unfreeze it directly in the app.

How do I report a lost or stolen LiaPay Card?

First, freeze your card immediately in the app. Then, contact our customer support team at support@liabify.com or call +971 058 275 2367 to officially report it and request a replacement card.

Can I download a monthly statement?

Yes, you can download your monthly statement from the Statements section in the app.


05Fees & Repayment

Are there any transaction fees?

Yes. A small, transparent processing fee applies per transaction. The exact fee is clearly displayed in the app before you confirm. There are no hidden charges and no interest.

Are there any maintenance fees?

No, there are no maintenance fees for the LiaPay account.

How is repayment handled?

Repayment is automatic. The accessed amount plus the service fee is deducted directly from your salary by your employer at month-end. No manual repayment is required.

What happens if I leave my job?

Any outstanding accessed salary may be settled through your final salary payment, subject to employer policies and agreement terms.


06Security & Data Protection

Is my data secure with LiaPay?

Yes. LiaPay uses bank-level encryption, secure authentication protocols, and strict data protection standards to ensure that your funds and personal information are fully protected. All transactions are monitored for security, and your data is stored in compliance with UAE regulations.

Is my money safe in the wallet?

Yes. Funds are protected through regulated financial partnerships and secure infrastructure.

Does my employer see my transactions?

Your employer only receives necessary payroll-related information (such as the amount to deduct). They do not have access to your personal spending details.
